What is a drone show?
A drone show features a swarm of illuminated drones creating shapes and figures in a night sky. Aircraft designed specifically for the shows are equipped with electroluminescent lamps and perform aerial choreography using 3D modeling and computer programming to guide their flight. Our shows are always synchronized with a rhythmic or narrative soundtrack adapted to the set design for an immersive experience and a wow effect.
It is also known by other names, such as “Drone Light Show”, “light aerial ballet” or even “drone show”. The objective of this performance is to offer innovative entertainment, designed to create wonder in the audience. Originating from Asia where they are still very popular, our goal at Allumee is to offer these great shows both in France and Europe. We have the ambition to share this unique experience throughout the world.
At Allumee, we operate our drone shows by programming a fleet of light-up drones to follow specific flight paths in the sky and display colors, varied patterns, and visual effects with their onboard LED lights. They typically take place in an open area in the air, and flat on the ground. Beforehand, our experts model and program the aircraft's flight. On the day of the show, a central computer system that coordinates the drones' movements allows them to be launched and ensures they remain a safe distance from each other. All while producing an impressive visual performance during the show. Our in-house animators meticulously design each drone show to ensure the images stand out from each other and transition to form a unique aerial choreography. Finally, a drone show lasts on average between 10 and 15 minutes.
How much does a drone show cost?
Allumee Drone Light Shows start from €16,000 excluding VAT, this price includes the entire preparation of the drone show and its production:
- Management of necessary flight authorizations
- Analysis of the area dedicated to choreography
- Drone show design
- Production of the unique show with our equipment
The price of a show depends on the number of drones, flight time, and the level of customization of the scenography.
We take your needs, budget, and event specifications into account. Additional fees may apply depending on your requests or constraints, but we always prioritize transparency above all else. Our diverse offerings adapt to all types of events.
Where to see a performance?
Allumee regularly performs at drone shows in France, Europe and around the world.
You can come and discover our shows in France during the national holiday, parades, public events, community celebrations, and other local public events. For example, in August 2024, Allumee performed a nighttime show at the Port of Monaco in honor of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Which choreography should I choose for my event?
Our consultation process will help define the best entertainment format for your event. Allumee offers you different types of services : Signature, Hybrid And Creation. These depend on the level of customization of your show, and the creation of unique scenes for your event. Our artists ensure the customization of choreographies especially for your evening thanks to their artistic vision, resulting in an authentic nighttime experience, full of magic and incredible visual effects. This dynamic and personalized aerial show will offer your guests an unforgettable moment.
Creating a completely tailor-made show is entirely possible, but please note that in this case, an extended deadline may be required, as we will see in the next point.
When should you book an aerial ballet with Allumee?
To ensure availability and obtaining the necessary permits, we recommend booking your drone show at least 30 days in advance.
In the case of a public show, this period will be 45 days since authorization requests will have to be made to the Prefecture.
How are Allumee drone shows different from traditional fireworks?
Challenging tradition, our light drone shows are an eco-friendly and safe alternative to fireworks. Using drones equipped with LEDs, we offer customized and quieter light shows, perfect for any event. Our shows offer a modern and sustainable solution for events seeking innovation.

Our drone shows produce no direct polluting emissions. They release neither fine particles nor toxic substances into the air, thus limiting risks to the health of spectators, wildlife, and flora.

Operating solely on batteries, without combustion or explosion, drone shows can take place safely in all types of natural environments, urban areas, and classified sites.

What are the ideal weather conditions for a performance with Allumee?
Although our drones can operate in a variety of conditions, we prioritize good weather conditions to ensure the safety and quality of the drone show.
Are our drones safe to fly?
Certainly. Already, we define a flight and safety zone (in accordance with local authorities) of approximately 100 meters where aircraft are authorized to fly. If a drone were to approach this limit of the defined flight perimeter, our drone operators activate a remote control (called a kill-switch) to cut the power to the motors.
Are Allumee drone shows suitable for all spaces and audiences?
Our drone shows are suitable for a multitude of locations: in cities, in parks or open areas, but also in the great outdoors: in the mountains, by the sea, above lakes for a fully immersive effect.
